Feedback should come more often and be accepted more readily

The way to make this happen is the “circular approach to writing”. Getting feedback in small pieces along the way meets far less resistance than getting it all at once after the work is done.

The best method is to rewrite things in your own language — Meaning sinks in only when a note is rewritten in my own words, not copied. In the process, what you understood and what you did not become distinguishable, and only when you know what you did not understand can you dig further.

To truly understand something means to keep correcting what you had misunderstood.

Another method is to go through the process of integrating new notes with existing ones — Integrating notes exposes hidden contradictions and gaps in consistency.
